The National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska is proud to host the NFB Braille Enrichment for Literacy and Learning® (BELL) Academy from June 9–20, 2025, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Lincoln. This enriching two-week program offers blind and low-vision youth an immersive learning experience in Braille literacy and nonvisual skills.

Participants will explore the world of tactile literacy through:

  • Interactive Braille lessons celebrating 200 years of tactile learning.
  • Stories of blind inventors and leaders.
  • Activities that build confidence and independence.

Logistics

When: June 9–20, 2025 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily
Where: Aldersgate United Methodist Church – Lincoln, NE
Lunch provided  and Transportation included
$50 registration fee (scholarships available)
